Hi guys,
Well, the big TV shoot is over. Now we only have two days of still photography to finish and then I'll be flying home to you. Everything went really well over the last two days. We had a fun time and Nelson and Dominic and the whole cast and crew did a fantastic job. I can't wait to see what it all looks like on film.
It's late so I'll try to post as many shots from the last two days as I can. But most of them will have to wait until I get home on Saturday.
These are two of our actors relaxing before we shot their scene.
Here I am on the set.
Our folks watching video sync at Video Village.
Is this one of Tennis' cousins? That's Video Village in the background.
Here's a picture of the camera Nelson and the DP (director of photography) used to shoot the TV spots. Nelson is standing behind the camera. The woman with the pink hair is one of the camera assistants.
At the ranch this morning.
This is the rig for the bike shot. We had a woman riding her bicycle and talking to the camera. The bicycle was placed on a trailer behind a little electric car. The crew and lights rode on the car, the actress rode the bike and the camera was mounted on the rig.
That's all for tonight guys. I love you so much! I miss you!
I'll post some more tomorrow night, I hope.
Take care! Have fun at co-op!
Love you,
Daddy

Hooray for Hollywood!
Hellooooo babies,
This morning I watched NC State almost perform a miracle in the ACC tournament final against UNC. Unfortunately, those dirty Tarheels were too much for the Wolfpack. UNC won by nine.
Immediately after the game, I met Donna downstairs to do a little sightseeing.
First we drove over to the KidRobot store on Melrose to buy a souvenir or three for Daddy. Then we did Hollywood. We parked under the Kodak Theater where the Academy Awards are held and walked up to the Grauman's Chinese Theater, built in 1927, and site of the stars' handprints and footprints for 80 years.
Here's a genuine California license plate. I meant to take a picture of one sooner, but forgot.
This is Godzilla's star on the Walk of Fame.
This is the Chinese Theater. It's a lot smaller than I expected. Hollywood on the whole is a lot smaller than I expected. Los Angeles, on the other hand, is a lot bigger than I expected.
A celebrity sighting!
These are the footprints of R2-D2, C3PO and Darth Vader from Star Wars. It might sort of look like they're embossed rather than engraved but that's a trick of the light. The sun was very bright and the shadows are really dark and really defined, creating the optical illusion.
Then we drove up into the Hollywood hills to get a good shot of the Hollywood sign.
This guy is starting to look familiar.
Donna found out where they shot the entrance to the Batcave on the old Adam West Batman TV show. We decided to drive up to the park where it is. We hiked up the hill and discovered it hidden in the mountain. Funnily enough, there was a small film crew already there shooting something. We had to wait until they were between takes to get our pictures by the tunnel entrance. The place is called Bronson Canyon and a quick Google search makes it look like a whole lot of films were shot there, including Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Searchers.
Nananananananananana...
Dad-deee! Dad-deee!
We climbed back down the mountain and drove to an old Hollywood cemetary called Hollywood Forever.
And the Oscar for Most Rocking in the Field of Tombstones goes to...
Johnny Ramone.
It was a silly, fun, touristy day.
I love you guys. Have fun tomorrow. I will call you.
Sweet dreams,
Daddy
The J. Paul Getty Museum
Good morning kitties,
I love you guys so much. I miss you so much. I can't wait until I get home and get all my hugs and kissies.
Yesterday after breakfast, I took the bus to the J. Paul Getty Museum.
Here's a picture of the bus I took.
The Getty Museum is on top of a mountain. I had to take a tram up to the top of the mountain.
The museum was really neat. The buildings were beautiful.
There were a lot of pretty fountains.
There was a beautiful cactus garden that seemed to be floating above the city.
There was a lot of nice art inside the museum too.
It's a balleringaround!
Look at this BED! Do you think a princess sleeps in it?
What a big clock! See if you can find Daddy in this picture.
I walked back down the mountain after I had seen everything.
When I got back on the bus to come back to the hotel, the sun was setting.
That's all for this morning, my kitties. I'm going to Hollywood this afternoon, so I should have some interesting photos for you tomorrow.
I love you all and I miss you like Mice miss Cheese.
See you soon,
Daddy
