This is the rough work in progress sketch of a commission for a friend. He and his girlfriend have a stuffed owl that they won in a mechanical claw game. This is the owl being rescued from the other stuffed prizes by the claw.
The final is going to be huge, 48"x36" so thinking about that has been a challenge. I printed this out full size and am going over it in ink on tracing paper to give it texture. After that, I'll scan the ink and combine it with color in Photoshop.
